The Lubbock Concert Band was established in 2007. Since its inception, the band has grown from 28 to over 100 musicians!

The Band plays several musical performances each year for large and enthusiastic audiences! The Lubbock Concert Band is truly a community ensemble, with ages ranging from 16 to 80! We enjoy each other’s fellowship and love of performing wonderful music!

Community is at the heart of the Lubbock Concert Band, and we are always looking to add new members to the ensemble!

Rehearsals run from the Fall through the Spring season. Our group practices at Lubbock Christian High School (2604 Dover Ave, Lubbock, TX 79407) on Thursday evenings from 6:45 - 8:30 PM.

Our requirements for joining the Lubbock Concert Band are as follows:

1. Members should be able to read sheet music.

2. Brass and woodwind players should be able to provide their own instrument (percussion equipment is provided).

3. Members must be 18 years or older.
