So, just like that Season 16 has come to a close in a way like no other season has.
We were privileged to be invited to play with the very talented FUMC choir for their
annual Patriotic Concert on July 2, 2023 for a very large and enthusiastic crowd!
We would like to send a very heartfelt “Thank You” to all of attended our concerts,
both live and online! We very much appreciate each and every one of you for supporting
our little band.
Our 17th Season will be starting in Thursday, September 7, 2023!! All rehearsals
will be held at Lubbock Christian High School Band Hall, located on 28th and Dover,
on Thursday evening from 6:45 pm – 8:30pm. Please try to arrive a little early to
warm-
There will be a break in rehearsals following the Fall/Holiday concert and will resume on Thursday, Jan 4, 2024.
We are always looking to add members to the Lubbock Concert Band. No age requirement or audition necessary. The requirements to join the Lubbock Concert Band are simple: 1) You own your instrument (preferably a brass/woodwind – percussion is provided); 2) You can read music; 3) You are willing to play (and practice) challenging music and 4) You are willing to have fun and maybe make some new friends
